(I'll write this in English language, but you can answer in German.)

I decided to change some things in BOM on my own and very soon found out, that VB6 and .NET 2003 are "similar" like Windows and Linux. Because it's difficult for me to search all over the forum, I am now wondering: should I install VS6 in a separate virtual machine just to modify and compile BOM or is anything happening regarding BOM and the newer .NET platforms?

porting from VB6 to .NET is a tough job. If I understood development correct, there are currently no plannings to migrate to .NET, at least for the r3.0 version which is already in development.

Therefore using VB6 in connection with e.g. VMware seems to be a good idea.
